New doesn't always mean bad....

I Don't Care, the new single from Fall Out Boy's album Folie A Deux, is available for purchase on iTunes.

I personally like it, but I've gotten mixed reviews from my friends.

"It's okay I guess..." - Candace (avid PATD fan, semi-avid FOB fan)
"I really hate Fall Out Boy's new single." - Jerell (uh....semi FOB fan)
"It's the best FOB song I've ever heard!" - Marla (hated FOB)

So I guess I don't know what to think about it.

Folie A Deux drops November 4th.

The Why So Serious Tour has kicked off, though no dates even CLOSE to me.

Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey Tour and the SassyBack Tour and the Rock Band Live tour will be kicking off soon.

Choosing between TAI and PATD.....DEF. can't go to Detroit right now....

More updates soon....I've tried, but I've been grounded for doing some bad stuff DX

And nothing like what you would think. HxC SxE

Mobbing is okay sometimes....

And as for a contest.

I sent this to my closest friends, now it's open to the public.

Hey guys. I need some serious help. I need to whore my blog, big time. The Buzzmob wants to use it for updates and such. So.... I'm offering some prizes for those of you who want to get into it. And here they are:

1. Warped Tour '08 Subcriber only edition of AP (issues 241.1 & 241.2 put together)
2. Anthony Green & Craig Owens Subscriber only edition of AP (issues 242.1 and 242.2 put together)
3. Boys Like Girls Album (it's on a burnt CD, nothing big) + FTSK postcard + Sticker
4. Panic At The Disco, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (again burnt CD, nothing huge) + FTSK postcard + Sticker
5. The Hush Sound setlist from HCT '08 (From the May 18th date at Indianapolis) + FTSK postcard + Sticker

7. The Cab Postcard, FTSK postcard & Sticker (qunty:6)

All you have to do is post this banner EVERYWHERE. Put it in your sig's on NDP. Post it on myspace. Actually check out the blog and leave some comments. The person with the most screenshots of the banner + the most comments on different posts on the blog gets first pick.

HTML for myspace, facebook, hit post a comment to see

If you are reading this....

You're officially part of this...thing...

I'm going to give you a list of artists. You are in turn going to email me with your favorite song from ONE of the artists. After you have emailed me, leave a comment here saying that you did. (EMAIL: thatswhaticallemo@blogspot.com)

I will then give you all a free download of that song + maybe some more from that artist.

CATCH: In order to get it, I'm going to give you a banner for this blog, and a banner for whichever band wins. You have to post them once on your social network of choice (Myspace, Facebook, etc.)

Artist List:

The Academy Is...
The Cab
Cobra Starship
Charlotte Sometimes
Dashboard Confessional
Katy Perry
Panic At The Disco
Plain White T's
Weird Al Yankovic

**NOTE**

Somewhere in this list are the members of Panic At The Disco's next tour.

A List Of Things I Don't Yet Understand.

1. What all the fuss about Katy Perry is....when Charlotte Sometimes is out there. I mean, Katy Perry is good. But Charlotte's better.

2. If video and pictures make us look like we gained 10 lbs, if you loose 10 lbs, will you look like you did before it ever started? (I don't know how to word this one I guess....)

3. Why is it that when Pete Wentz says to expect secret shows, it's only one?

4. If you're not fat, why do you need 101 dalmations for a coat?

5. Why is Oregon Trail so fun to play, even though it came out in like 1995?

And FINALLY:

6. Why is it that cats and babies can get away with being fat but still look cute, and older people can't?

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

The updates told me you were dying to hear them...

1. FOBR:

Pete says he wants to tour again *insert roll eyes here* That doesn't mean anything though.

2. FOE:

They have some wicked warped coverage going on as well as some wicked conetsts. The FOE-TO hunt, the contest for free tickets for the OFF-WARPED DECAYDANCE TOUR, the ARE YOU THE HOTTEST MESS contest, and of course, all of this can be found at http://www.friendsorenemies.com

And FOB TOUR updated saying that they'll have updates soon. Which means in 6 months, they're going to tell us the name of the next tour :/

And forevermore will they be the sickest ones, the ones who shatter our fears and tears

So, of course, I got all excited when I learned their was going to be a Forever The Sickest Kids/The Cab concert within 1 hour of where I live....actually, it was almost exactly one hour away.

We set off at 2 on that Saturday May 10th to go to Headliners Toledo. We get there and who do we see? Caleb walking around!! We didn't call him out because, PFTSH, you know, we're higher than that. So we see a dude selling copies of Metro Station's CD and Underdog Alma Mater, and if you bought them, you got into Meet And Greet!! IT was an exciting prospect, and I needed to get the CD legally.....so I bought it.

We get in there and sweat our asses off during The Cab then go outside for most of the rest of the time....until FTSK came on. I swear, the energy coming from that stage was amazing. It was the most effort I've seen put into a live show for a while, these guys don't fool around. I thought it would seem over-processed because of all the synth, but it wasn't. It was really great!

Then the Meet and Greet came around, and even though we weren't allowed to get pictures with the guys, I got pictures with half of them....whoops. My bad.

These guys from FTSK are really amazing. If you get a chance to go out and see them, do it! They're AMAZING guys!!

Finally it's my time....

So you may have been reading Mr. Wentz's information on Obama...which provides one side of this year's presidential election....but I am a supporter of Mitt Romney and here's why:

Yes, I care about my education:

I, being a child in school, am directly affected by this act that president George W. Bush passed. I believe that it was probably one of the poorest decisions enacted by him, but I respect him tryint to get America's schools back on track. You may or may not know that American's are trailing academically compared to other countries, which, at least to me, is an outrage. We are the richest country in the world, and the most well-developed, so why shouldn't we have the best education? Romney will change this act, and make it more realistic. He will make the goals more flexible, which was badly needed.

Yes, Global Warming is happening but...

It is a pattern that will continue in the world. Yes, we might be speeding it up, but the real problem with the environment is our dependace on oil. As we all know, oil is an unrenewable resource, and takes millions of years to form. We use it for almost everything, from plastic, to the obvious gasoline. Romney will invest in nuclear energy programs, and other alternative energy programs to try to make the United States less dependant on such an important natural resource.

The thing you're most worried about, next to the war...

The economy. Romney wants to lower the corporate tax rate, therefore making it easier for them to hire the helping people that they want, and need. Less layoffs!!! He wants to reform the immigration laws, and end illegal immigration so that we can recruit the best and the smartest to become contributing parts of the United States' Economy. He wants to make George W. Bush's Tax Cuts Permanent, and eliminate the death tax. And, for really good news, he wants to lower income taxes. This all will lead to people having more money to put into the economy, making it stronger and steadier, that way we can come out of this recession.

We're still not done crying about our [!], lets have a pity party.

P[!]ATD announced that UK presale is going on sale soon...very exciting, for all of us US kids, it's like knowing that our band is finally coming out of solitary confinement.

http://www.panicatthedisco.com

TRRRGLT started on the 17th of January, so Cobra Starship, The Cab, We The Kings, and Metro Station are finally on the road....it's all very exciting, I can't wait to see The Cab for the first time.

http://www.cobrastarship.com

I'm going to Columbus, which got sold out about a week after Cobra was on TRL...yet another band ruined by MTV, but you should vote for them anyways...their happiness is more important than our happiness...think about it.

http://www.mtv.com/ontv/dyn/trl/TRLvoting.jhtml

And if you really hate Cobra Starship for some unfathomable reason, vote for Williamsburg, Armor For Sleep. Great band, and they're great people.

_________________________________________________________________________________

I've still got to get my Science Fair papers signed by Lauren's mom...but that's not a problem....the stupid expirment didn't work, it was supposed to prove that listening to music while reading helped you relax and concentrate more...but NOOOOOO....I suppose that The World's Not Waiting is probably not a good song choice for the Alt. Rock genre choice, but I wanted to pick one that nobody had ever heard before.

They all thought it sucked, but they can shove it. Lunchbox wrote it, and I really do like that song.

I'm super stoked about HCT, and I'm just hoping that it's on a weekend....mum and dad say no more missed school for concerts this year....

Stupid Fall Out Boy (Just kidding...kind of....)

go find yourself some intelligent life......

Pictures of my snake (Artemis Gabriel Lause) killing Petah soon....it's as good as you think it is, and yet more fake than you can imagine.....chew on that...

It'll ticke your fancy, let's put it that way.

Pretty Odd That We're So Starving...

Panic[!] At The Disco To Headline The Honda Civic Tour 2008

We are all very happy for our boys in P[!]ATD, but WhyTF did they have to get rid of their [!]?

It's SO DUMB. They were all cool when they had it now it's just like Panic At The Disco....it's not right, it looks naked. Somebody's going to see it and and come stare at it. Gross.

I Like J7 Clothing has some wicked stuff...if you want to know more, you know where to find me:

http://www.myspace.com/pilotbandgeek

And if you didn't know that, you're stupid for coming to read this....add me, then you won't be stupid any more.

ANYWAYS, 16 days until Cobra Starship, and I'm really praying hard for good weather and no musical for Candace, because if that happens I might cry.

Well, I have Science Fair to work on (ICH.) and English to do (ICH-IER) and a job to get to.

Have a nice rest of forever.
